For a moment,
I let go–
Only to find
That grace took my breath away,
And cradled the fall.
And I shed a tear and smiled
At the irony.
That all this time
I had held on tightly,
As if chaos would rush in
To fill the void.
But it was this terror
That held me in.
Having me believe that
Blessings were things for which to hold my breath and wait.
And I realized, that a divine symphony
Had been in the ether all along,
The gifts of its harmony yearning to be bestowed.
